Covid-19 – Service Update
We are all seeing tighter restrictions in our daily lives in a bid to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. As a service business, dealing directly with customers, we feel it is vital that we follow these guidelines as strictly as possible.
For that reason, as of today (Monday 23rd March), we will only carry out emergency work and gas safety inspections as these are legal requirements.
Before carrying out any emergency work at your property, we must speak directly to the occupants to confirm that it is safe to do so. We will ask:
1- Has anyone on the property been diagnosed with Covid-19
2- Are any occupants showing symptoms
3- Are there any occupants in a high-risk group
All of our engineers have been issued with face masks, disposable gloves and hand sanitiser. We are having daily briefings to make sure that they maintain the safety measures and hygiene protocol set out by the WHO, to ensure that we protect our customers and engineers as best we can.
At this difficult time, we do not want to abandon our customers and leave people with serious issues such as a lack of hot water. For that reason, we are determined and committed to maintaining our emergency services.
In our industry, we are in constant contact with our customers and enter many homes daily.
This means that we are at high risk of spreading the virus quickly, risking the health of our staff and the public, making an already severe problem worse.
We trust that you understand our decision and please be assured that we are here to maintain your safety. We are at the end of the phone in case of an emergency.
